It started when Andy, a youth-focused business owner, was stuck managing HR, payroll, operations, and marketing—leaving little time to focus on the programs and people that mattered most. He needed a partner to take the busywork off his plate.
Victoria, our Managing Director, saw firsthand how leaders in youth-serving organizations were stretched too thin. While managing day-to-day operations in one of Andy’s programs, she saw how HR, finance, and operations kept pulling him away from the real work—the reason he started in the first place: helping kids grow and thrive. She realized Andy wasn’t alone—directors and educators across camps, schools, and enrichment programs were facing the same challenge: trying to run their organizations while staying focused on what truly mattered.
Determined to find a better way, Victoria pitched the idea of an agency that could support all of Andy’s youth-focused organizations—taking on HR, payroll, operations, and marketing so he could lead with purpose. What she didn’t realize was just how much more efficient it would make those programs—and how big of an impact it could have far beyond them.
As Polaris Solutions took shape, the difference was immediate: fewer fires to put out, smoother systems, and more time for the work that really mattered—serving youth. And we quickly realized Andy wasn’t the only one who needed this kind of support. From summer camps to early childhood programs, so many leaders were carrying too much alone. She’s worked across sectors to help leaders trade overwhelm for clarity and build foundations that last.
Nate is a marketing strategist with a background in design, education start-ups, and mission-driven agencies. His experience includes leading brand and content strategy for education startups & agencies focused on reimagining education for young learners. He brings a strategic, creative lens to every campaign, helping youth-focused teams amplify their impact through marketing that drives revenue.
Kaitlen is a systems thinker who thrives at the intersection of data, creativity, and mission. With years of experience supporting arts nonprofits and youth organizations, she’s led teams through operational overhauls, strategic transitions, and messy middle moments. Whether it’s a new tool, process, or plan, Kaitlen helps leaders move from chaos to clarity—with heart and precision.
Andy brings a lifelong passion for youth development and over a decade of experience running organizations that serve kids and families. He’s seen firsthand how hard it is to balance meaningful programming with complex operations.
